Hey! So, I haven't posted on this Blog barely much at all in the past 10 years. And wow, 10 years. That's a lot. I was 8 when my Mum (Jannette) helped me post my first Blogpost ever. I'm 18 now, sipping whine after watching the newest episode of the Loki series, which only came out three weeks ago.
I've don a lot in the last decade, I've made friends, I've gone to Tafe, learned new skills, started doing Karate and made lots of art. I started out mostly creating things out of clay, metal foil and paint. (Including an earlier version of Photoshop.) Today though I mostly do traditional/digital art and writing. These are what I find more enjoyable.
Anyway, to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of this Blog, I want to just post some art I've done recently, mixed in with a few little tidbits to show how I've changed a little over the years. Enjoy :)
This is a quick picture I did of myself as a rat.
This is a drawing I did of the main character from a Japanese manga called Phosphophyllite. The manga is called Houseki no Kuni, or Land of the Lustrous.
This is a sketch of a dwarf-rabbit girl, Haru from another manga called Beastars.
This is a 3d model of some creepy-looking animal head. I don't really know what type of animal I was going for, but it looks like a mix between a fox and a bear, along with a nightmare. Sorry.
This is a digital sketch I did of a goblin girl from a Dungeons and Dragons game me and my friends are planning of doing.
Lastly, this is a group drawing I did of me and my current Tafe friends as our own fictional art personas. (Well, except Amber to the far left, she doesn't really use one. Or Tyler on the floor. Or Sheena, in prison. You get the gist though.
That's really all there is for now, but I'll try and post a few more things here every once and a while, when I get time. My life is about to get quite complicated, as I'm planning on moving out to study in the city for a year while I do my Diploma. in the meantime, if you want to see more of my art on a regular basis, you can check out my Instagram account here > https://www.instagram.com/graphieart/ (Sorry if this link becomes outdated)
Oh, and here's a picture of the real me, William Tibbs, now. (Not as a rat, thankfully.)
