My first Pony Ride

My sister Charlotte has always liked to ride on the ponies at the markets up at Mt Tamborine. A few months ago I actually had a ride too. I was a bit scared of riding on them before, because it was so high being in the saddle, but because I am taller now I wasn't scared anymore of being up on their back.  Here is a picture of me on 'Rainbow' the shetland pony.

I love the Mt Tamborine markets because we buy sweets and things and then usually go to a playground or have a picnic.

We had some chocolate chip muffins and an apple and then played while Mum and Dad and Charlie sat on the table and chairs watching us. It was a really good day, but I am always tired coming home in the car from a drive.

My Blobs are in their own Cartoon!

I made up a cartoon with my blobs in it. I'm very very very proud of myself and very happy that everyone really likes it in my family. Hope you will like it too.
You will have to read it carefully as I spell things the way they sound...I'm still learning to write and Mum helps me write up my blog.

My blob's adventure

This cartoon is called 'The Treasure'.
One day there were two blobs in the woods. The one on the right spotted something...
"What's that!!"
His blob friend was saying "Ahhhhh, what a lovely day" as he walked along, but stopped when he noticed his friend bouncing away to look behind some bushes...
"Whaaa?"
In his hands he holds a shining rock.
He is very happy about his find! (see the teeth?) He exclaims "What is this?!"
They walk back out into the path and the other blob says "It is a DIAMOND!"
"thanks a lot" says his friend (because he really did already know what it was...)
"You know you can make a lot of money out of this..."
So off they go to the 'Trader for Diamonds'
His friend by now is getting a bit bored waiting a the Diamond Trader and remarks on the conversation about the diamond by saying 'What ever..."
then, the diamond talks and says 'BLAH' to the bored blob!
The blob holding the diamond is amazed and shouts "It talks too!!!"
He's really very happy about this talented diamond he has found!
the diamond blings brightly...
Another Trader Blob walks by and notices what is happening and says, "Could I buy that?!,...."
the blob holding the diamond says, "No..."

Modelling clay blobs

These are my blobs and they are very cute, and they're very very very fun to play with. I mold some FIMO into a little rectangular blob shape, then I squish the front of the head a bit, and then, I put two, small, black beads onto the body, and then, I get a toothpick and stick it in below the eyes and then it looks like a mouth for the blob. 

A few days after that I made a few more blobs, and a few Roman ones with shields and helmets, and little swords and golden bits of armour.

FIMO has to be baked in the oven for 25minutes, at 110degrees Celsius. Maybe you could make something too? It could be maybe a snake or a dog, or even a Viking blob...because I'm going to make one of those.

I made a landscape out of the side of a cereal box, and then I painted it all red, made a little clay house, and then painted everything red on the landscape and poured glitter on it while it was still wet, and then when it was dry I got some celophane and put it around it and stuck it on to be a background, then I had my little blob landscape!

My blobs look very happy in their new landscape! I can't wait until I make those Viking blobs and then they can meet my Roman blobs, and they can all throw a big party for the Viking's arrival!

I found money!

This is the diorama that I made using some paper and alfoil.
It is about a day that happened a couple of weeks ago when we were on a walk to the shops. I looked down at the road and saw a 5c piece. Then I found another one in the carpark at the shops. Then on the way home I found another 5c piece! Mum said we should buy a Lotto ticket because I was very lucky.

Well, I was very lucky because I was sad on that day, but when I went out to the shops I ended up finding three 5c pieces, and it made me feel a lot better.
